[TENTATIVE] ORDER CONTINUING THE HEARING ON PETITION FOR CHANGE OF NAME

      Both Petitioners, who are 14 years old, request an order changing their last name from Gallegos Nuñez to Luna. The court previously continued the hearing to require the consent of both parents, or to serve the petition on the non-consenting parents. Additionally, the court ordered Petitioners to comply with the requirements for publication of the Order to Show Cause. Code Civ. Proc., § 1277.

      The court’s file does not reflect that the Petitioners have complied. Accordingly, the court continues the hearing to April 20, 2024,  at 8:30 a.m. in Department A of the Compton Courthouse. Petitioner is ordered to comply with the January 16, 2024 order.
