[TENTATIVE] ORDER CONTINUING THE HEARING ON  MOTION TO BE RELIEVED AS COUNSEL FOR PLAINTIFF

Eric D. Paris, Esq., as counsel for Plaintiff, Eugene W. Hart, requests an order to be relieved because counsel has lost contact with the client since October 22, 2021. Counsel has show reasonable diligence in attempting to locate the client, but has not been able to confirm a current address.

Without a current address for the client, service of the motion, declaration, and proposed order may be accomplished by delivering the notice or papers to the clerk of the court, for that party. (Code Civ. Proc., § 1011 (d).)

Accordingly, the hearing is continued to October 4, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. in Department A of the Compton Courthouse. Counsel is ordered to comply with Code Civ. Proc., §1011(d) and deliver the motion to the clerk of the court.
