[TENTATIVE] ORDER CONTINUING THE HEARING ON PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF MINOR’S COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS (DENISE CALDERON, AGE 8)

[TENTATIVE] ORDER CONTINUING THE HEARING ON PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF MINOR’S COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS (KEVIN CALDERON, AGE 15)

The action arises from injuries suffered by Plaintiffs in a car accident.

A minor’s settlement is valid if approved by the court after a hearing.  (Prob. Code, §§3505, 3500.)

Both petitions for compromise of the minors’ settlements are incomplete. Both claimants required medical care for their injuries. While the claimants have fully recovered, claimants are required to submit a copy of any doctor’s report containing a diagnosis of the claimant’s injuries or a prognosis for the claimant’s recovery, and a report of the claimant’s current condition. (Petition, section 8.) The medical report must be attached as Attachment 8. (Id.)

Accordingly, the court continues the hearing on both petitions to August 13, 2025,  at 8:45 a.m. Plaintiffs are ordered to file within 10 days before the hearing, a supplemental declaration that includes the medical reports described above for each claimant.
