Village Family Services Inc.'s ("VFS") motion to strike the allegations in the complaint of Plaintiff Christian Aprahamian related to Plaintiff's request for an award of punitive damages against VFS and the prayer in the complaint for a punitive damages award is GRANTED with leave to amend.  In the Court's view, the allegations in the complaint are insufficient to support a punitive damages award.  The Court will expand on this determination at the hearing on the motion to strike should Plaintiff wish to be heard on this tentative ruling.
