The Defendant will not be issuing a tentative ruling on Defendant's demurrer to Plaintiff's First Amended Complaint in this case.  The Court has questions for Plaintiff's counsel that are intended to help the Court understand the allegations in the First Amended Complaint.  The Court also will ask Plaintiff's counsel if, as suggested by Plaintiff's Request for Judicial Notice, this Court's decision in Heiting v. IHOP, 24STCV14453, the issues in that case are the same as the issues in this case.  The issues seem different to this Court.
