Plaintiff's motion for a preliminary injunction is denied without prejudice.  The Court is disposing of the motion in that fashion pursuant to Rule 2.8(b) of the Los Angeles County Superior Court Rules.   That Rule states that if a party moves for a preliminary injunction in an action prior to the initial case management conference in the department of the Superior Court where the action is assigned, the party must file the motion with Writs and Receiver's section of the Court's Civil Division.  The  Rule specifies which of the Departments within that section that will hear the motion.  Last month, the Court denied Plaintiff's ex parte application for an injunction for this same reason.
