Civil - Unlimited  Other Real Property Discovery Hearing 37-2020-00031296-CU-OR-CTL HECHT VS STRAT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INC [IMAGED] CAUSAL DOCUMENT/DATE FILED: Motion to Compel Discovery, 09/08/2023
Plaintiffs Judy Hecht, Rodger Questin, Jeremy Geib, and Savanah Carrilo's Motion to Compel Production of Documents is DENIED. Sanctions are denied against either party. As an initial matter, the court finds that Third Party San Diego Blood Bank's ('SDBB') service on Plaintiffs' counsel was adequate. SDBB was not required to further 'confirm the appropriate electronic service address for the counsel being served' when Plaintiffs' counsel had been using her email to communicate via meet and confer. The court notes that Plaintiffs' own papers were filed late. Even so, the court has considered everything submitted and finds that SDBB has no further documents to provide. Whatever inadequacies that may have existed under Evidence Code section 1561 at the time of SDBB's initial responses have since been remedied if not through meet and confer, then through the declarations in opposition to the motion.
