[TENTATIVE] ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO BE RELIEVED AS COUNSEL

Dept. 31

1:30 p.m.

May 17, 2023

Plaintiff Augustin Ramos’ attorneys of record, Barry Drucker and Tigran Martinian (collectively, “Counsel”), seek to be relieved as counsel, contending there has been a breakdown in communication between them and Plaintiff.  Counsel declare they served the moving papers on their client by U.S. mail at the client’s last known address.  Counsel has filed proof of service on their client. Because Defendant Great Cuts Beauty Salon was dismissed on November 8, 2021, and Defendant Mozafar Babaie has defaulted, service on them is not required.

The motion is unopposed and granted; the ruling is effective upon filing proof of service of the final order.  The Court notes the only other scheduled matter is an Order to Show Cause Re: Dismissal for Failure to Enter Default Judgment for May 17, 2023, and trial has been vacated.  Therefore, there will be no prejudice because of the granting of this motion.

Counsel is ordered to give notice.
