[TENTATIVE] ORDER CONTINUING HEARING ON MOTION TO COMPEL

Defendant Los Angeles Dodgers, LLC (“Defendant”) filed this motion to compel the deposition of Plaintiff Jodi Bowen (“Plaintiff”), set to be heard on July 21, 2023. Plaintiff filed an opposition, and Defendant filed a reply.
The Court reviewed the papers, and notes that the parties agreed to and set Plaintiff’s deposition for July 20, 2023. Defendant declares that if the deposition moves forward as agreed and Plaintiff produces the requested documents, that Defendant will immediately notify the Court and take its motion off calendar. In light of the circumstances, the Court will briefly continue this motion to August 2, 2023.
Defendant is ordered to notify the Court at least five (5) court days prior to the rescheduled hearing date as to whether Plaintiff appeared for her deposition, and whether Defendant will be taking the motion off-calendar.
The hearing on the motion is continued to August 2, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in Department 31 of the Spring Street Courthouse.
Defendant is ordered to give notice.
