Avia Butler (“Claimant”) agreed to settle her claims against Defendants in the amount of $16,518.88. If the settlement is approved, $2,500 will be used for medical expenses and $4,129.72 for attorneys’ fees. The net balance of $9,889.16 will be deposited into a blocked account.
The Court reviews the settlement and finds it fair and reasonable.¿The Court also finds the attorney’s fees fair and reasonable, in that it amounts to 25% of Claimant’s settlement. Based on the foregoing, the petition is GRANTED.
