The Court excuses the personal appearance of Claimant and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call.¿
Plaintiffs agreed to settle their claims against Defendants for the total amount of $170,000, with $24,000 to be apportioned to Maximilian Gonzalez (“Claimant”). If the settlement is approved, $1,324.03 will be used for medical expenses, $6,000 for attorneys’ fees, and $502.02 will be used for costs. The net balance of $16,173.95 will be deposited into a blocked account.
The Court has reviewed the settlement and finds it fair and reasonable. The Court also finds the attorneys’ fees fair and reasonable, in that it amounts to 25% of Claimant’s settlement.
The Court finds the settlement is reasonable and based thereon approves and GRANTS the petition.
THE COURT SETS AN OSC RE PROOF OF DEPOSIT ON ____________________ IN DEPARTMENT SS-31 AT 8:30 AM. No appearance required if receipt is filed in advance.
