On November 13, 2020, the case captioned George Gonzalez, et al. v. Kim Honny Kowsky, et al., Case No. 20STCV43663 (the “Gonzalez Action”) was filed by George Gonzalez and Gladis Majano-Aguiluz against Defendants.

On November 23, 2020, the case captioned Simindokht Moghaddas, et al. v. Kim Honny Kowsky, et al., Case No. 20STCV44908 (the “Moghaddas Action”) was filed by Simindokht Moghaddas and Gladis Dayyan Moghaddas (collectively, “Moghaddas Plaintiffs”) against Defendants.

On October 24, 2022, Case Nos. 20STCV43663 and 20STCV44908 were consolidated, with 20STCV43663 designated as the lead case.

On June 29, 2023, the Gonzalez Action settled and Plaintiffs George Gonzalez and Gladis Majano-Aguiluz filed a request for dismissal of the entire action with prejudice.

The Moghaddas Plaintiffs now seek an order to schedule the Moghaddas Action for trial, because the Moghaddas Action has not settled. The motion is unopposed.

If both parties appear at the hearing, the Court will work with the parties to schedule a trial date. Otherwise, the Court will set a Trial Setting Conference on _____________ at 8:30 a.m. in Department 31 of the Spring Street Courthouse.

Moving party is ordered to give notice.
