TENTATIVE

The motions to compel responses to intial discovery against Plaintiff Angel Simmons (“Plaintiff”) are unopposed and GRANTED. 

Plaintiff is ordered to serve verified responses to form interrogatories, set one, special interrogatories, set one, and request for production of documents, set one, without objections, within ten (10) days.  (Code Civ. Proc., §§ 2030.290(a), (b), 2031.300(a), (b).)

Plaintiff and Plaintiff’s attorney of record, jointly and severally, are ordered to pay sanctions to Defendant Muhammad Nasir, by and through counsel of record, in the amount of $980.00, within twenty (20) days. The Court awards sanctions pursuant to Code of Civ. Proc. §§ 2023.030, 2030.290(c), 2031.300(c) and CRC 3.1348.

• Parties are encouraged to meet and confer after reading this tentative ruling to see if they can reach an agreement.
