Plaintiffs have agreed to settle their claims against Defendants, with $30,000 being apportioned to Genesis Ramirez Martinez (“Claimant”). If the settlement is approved, $10,075 will be used for medical expenses, and $7,500 for attorneys’ fees. The net balance of $12,425 will be deposited into a blocked account.
The Court reviews the settlement and finds it fair and reasonable.¿The Court also finds the attorney’s fees fair and reasonable, in that it amounts to 25% of Claimant’s settlement. Based on the foregoing, the petition is GRANTED.
