[TENTATIVE] ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO BE RELIEVED AS COUNSEL

Dept. 31

1:30 p.m.

March 28, 2024

Plaintiff Eva Mayes (“Plaintiff”) attorney of record, Bradley S. Wallace, Esq. of The Wallace Firm, PC (“Counsel”), moves to be relieved as counsel contending relief is necessary because of a conflict of interest and breakdown in the attorney-client relationship.

Counsel declares the moving papers were served on Plaintiff at his last known address, which was confirmed within the past 30 days as current through telephone and email correspondence. Counsel has filed proof of service of the notice of motion and motion, declaration and proposed order on Plaintiff and Defendant. (Cal. Rules of Court, rule 3.1362(d).)

The motion is unopposed and GRANTED; the ruling is effective upon filing proof of service of the final order. Trial is currently set for June 13, 2024. Therefore, there is sufficient time for Plaintiff to seek other counsel or otherwise prepare prior to trial.

Moving Counsel is ordered to give notice.
