TENTATIVE 

Plaintiff Safeco Insurance Company of America, as Subrogee of Natalie Barseghian, (“Plaintiff”) seeks reimbursement for the amount it paid for its insured’s property damages arising from an automobile collision between defendant Carlito’s Towing Service (“Defendant”) and Plaintiff’s insured.  

Plaintiff seeks judgment in the principal amount of $25,425.55, in accordance with the amount pled in the complaint and the Statement of Damages. Plaintiff also seeks costs in the amount of $579 for clerk’s filing fees and process server’s fees. Plaintiff has properly dismissed all other unnamed parties to this action.   

Plaintiff submits the declaration of its claims adjuster and custodian of records, Ryan Santa (“Santa”), who provides that Plaintiff paid its insured $25,425.55 as a result of the automobile collision. Santa provides the payment ledger in support thereof, which aggregates to a total amount of $25,425.55.   

Therefore, the application for default judgment filed on December 27, 2023 is GRANTED in the principal amount of $25,425.55, and $579.00 in costs, against Carlito’s Towing Service.     

Plaintiff is ordered to give notice of this ruling.
