TENTATIVE
Plaintiff Steadfast Insurance Company (“Steadfast”) seeks reimbursement for the amount Plaintiff paid for its insured’s property and personal injury damages in the principal amount of $286,587 in this subrogation claim. Plaintiff also seeks costs in the amount of $1,713, and interest in the total amount of $11,260.55 (computed at 7% interest from January 25, 2022). Plaintiff has properly dismissed all other parties in this action.
Plaintiff has provided the proper declarations and sufficient evidence to support principal damages in the amount of $286,587. The $1,713 costs sought are recoverable. (CCP §1033.5.) The interest computation does not exceed 7% per annum. (Cal. Const. Art XV, 1; CC §3287(c).)
The application for default judgment filed on June 28, 2023 is GRANTED for the principal amount of $286,587, costs of $1,713, and interest of $11,260.55, in the total amount of $299,920.55 against defendant Shalom Lewin.
Plaintiff is ordered to give notice.
