[TENTATIVE] ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO BE RELIEVED AS COUNSEL
Dept. 31 1:30 p.m. March 29, 2024
|
Plaintiff Luis Romero Aguilar (“Plaintiff”) attorneys of record, Robert B. Gibson, Esq. of Gibson & Hughes and co-counsel Michael Wieser, Esq. of MW Law Firm, A.P.C. (“Counsels”), move to be relieved as counsel contending relief is necessary because of fundamental differences in management of the case between Plaintiff and Gibson & Hughes/ MW Law Firm, A.P.C.
Counsels declare the moving papers were served on Plaintiff at his last known address, which was confirmed within the past 30 days as current through telephone. Counsels have filed proof of service of the notice of motion and motion, declaration and proposed order on Plaintiff and Defendant. (Cal. Rules of Court, rule 3.1362(d).)
The motion is unopposed and GRANTED; the ruling is effective upon filing proof of service of the final order. Trial is currently set for June 4, 2024. Therefore, there is sufficient time for Plaintiff to seek other counsel or otherwise prepare prior to trial.
