[TENTATIVE] ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO BE RELIEVED AS COUNSEL

Dept. 31

1:30 p.m.

December 5, 2023

Plaintiff, Jonathan Ramirez (“Plaintiff”) attorney of record Neer Lerner of Lerner Law Firm, PC (“Counsel”), moves to be relieved as counsel contending relief is necessary because there has been a breakdown in the attorney-client relationship that precludes further representation.

Counsel declares he served the moving papers on Plaintiff via mail and e-mail at Plaintiff’s last known address, which Counsel confirmed was current by telephone and by conversation. Counsel filed proof of service of the moving papers on Plaintiff and Defendant

The motion is unopposed and granted; the ruling is effective upon filing proof of service of the final order. Trial is currently set for April 23, 2024. Therefore, there is sufficient time for Plaintiff to seek other counsel or otherwise prepare prior to trial.

Moving Counsel is ordered to give notice.
