Plaintiff Earnest Cooper’s (“Plaintiff”) attorney of record, Babak Bobby Taghavi, Esq. of Sweet James, LLP (“Counsel”), moves to be relieved as counsel contending relief is necessary because of irreconcilable differences in further handling of this action.
Counsel has personally served Plaintiff with the notice of motion and motion, proposed order, and declaration in compliance with Cal. Rules of Court, rule 3.1362. (Proof of Service, Feb. 5, 2024.)
The motion is unopposed and GRANTED; the ruling is effective upon filing proof of service of the final order. Trial is currently set for September 23, 2024. Therefore, there is sufficient time for Plaintiff to seek other counsel or otherwise prepare prior to trial.
Moving Counsel is ordered to give notice.
