[TENTATIVE] ORDER CONTINUING MOTION TO COMPEL FURTHER DIscovery responses | ||
I. BACKGROUND
Plaintiff 1525 Colorado, LLC (“Plaintiff”) filed this quiet title action against Maniben Corp., et al. regarding the property commonly known as 1525 Colorado Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90041. The verified complaint sets forth five causes of action for (1) To Quiet Title To Express Easement; (2) To Quiet Title To Equitable Easement; (3) For Enforcement Of Easement Pursuant To CC § 809; (4) Nuisance; and (5) Declaratory Relief.
On July 1, 2024, Plaintiff filed the instant motion to compel defendant Maniben Corp. (“Maniben”) to provide supplemental responses to Plaintiff’s form interrogatories, set one, as to No. 17.1, and to Plaintiff’s Requests for Admission, set one, as to Nos. 12-16.
On July 25, 2024, Maniben filed its opposition to Plaintiff’s motion.
II. DISCUSSION
The Court has reviewed the briefs and finds good cause to conduct an Informal Discovery Conference (“IDC”) in an effort to informally resolve the discovery dispute at issue, prior to hearing the motion to compel further.
III. CONCLUSION
The parties are to meet and confer on a date to participate in the IDC, and Plaintiff is ordered to reserve and schedule the IDC.
Plaintiff is also ordered to continue the Hearing on Motions to Compel Further Discovery Responses using the online reservation management system, to a date at least 3 weeks after the IDC.
Moving Party is ordered to give notice.
