Plaintiff Kathleen Watson’s motion to continue trial is denied.  (See Gov. Code, § 68607, subd. (g); Cal. Rules of Court, rule 3.1332.)

It appears the only remaining depositions have already been scheduled.  While the court encourages the parties to discuss settlement, defendant opposes mediation and the court cannot force it.  We all have too many trials on our calendars – we will deal with any actual trial conflicts if and when they arise.

Plaintiff shall give notice.
