Motion to Compel Arbitration

Pursuant to the Notice of Withdrawal of Petition to Compel Mediation and Arbitration and Motion to Stay Action filed 10/14/2022, the hearing on this matter is taken OFF CALENDAR.

The parties are informed that, in the future, all motions must include a written notice of motion that states “the grounds upon which it will be made[.]” (Civil Proc. Code, § 1010; see Rules of Court R. 3.1110, subd. (a) [notice of motion must “state in the opening paragraph the nature of the order being sought and the grounds for issuance of the order.”].) Failure to attach and serve a written notice of motion may result in the denial of the motion. (See Civil Proc. Code, § 1005, subd. (a) & (b).)

The parties and counsel are ordered to appear at the hearing on the Order to Show Cause re: Stay that is scheduled for 11/17/2022 at 08:30 AM in Department N15, and give the court a status update whether the matter will be arbitrated and this case may be stayed.

The court clerk shall give notice of this ruling.
