Motion to Compel Answers to Special Interrogatories

Defendant Northwood Pointe Maintenance Association’s (Northwood) motion to compel further responses to its first set of special interrogatories is GRANTED. (See Code Civ. Proc., § 2030.300.)

Plaintiffs Jorge Alcala (Alcala) and Lizbeth Martinez (Martinez) are each ORDERED to provide verified, full and complete further responses without objection to Northwood’s first set of special interrogatories, Nos. 1-11, 14, 17, 20, 23, and 27-29, within 20 days of service of this order.

Sanctions in the amount of $1,730 are GRANTED in favor of Northwood, and against plaintiff Alcala and his counsel of record, Douglas A. Schenck, jointly and severally, payable within 30 days of service of this order.

Additionally, sanctions in the amount of $1,730 are GRANTED in favor of Northwood, and against plaintiff Martinez and her counsel of record, Douglas A. Schenck, jointly and severally, payable within 30 days of service of this order.

Northwood shall give notice.
