Plaintiff Salvatore Casciaro’s motions to compel defendant Steven Blanchard to provide responses to Form Interrogatories, Set One, and Special Interrogatories, Set One, and to deem Requests for Admissions, Set One, as admitted, are MOOT, except for sanctions, as defendant has provided responses. (Sinaiko Healthcare Consulting, Inc. v. Pacific Healthcare Consultants (2007) 148 Cal.App.4th 390, 409 [court’s discretion where responses served after motion filed].)
Monetary sanctions are imposed against defendant Steven Blanchard and his attorney of record, Erik E. Woodbury, jointly and severally, in the amount of $2,880.00, or $960.00 per motion. (Code Civ. Proc., §§ 2030.290, subd. (c) [authorizing sanctions re: interrogatories], 2033.280, subd. (c) [mandatory sanctions re: requests for admission].)
