An Order to Show Cause Re: Default Judgment is set for February 5, 2024.

Discussion

Plaintiff’s Application for Default Judgment is denied without prejudice. The following defects are noted:

1.                  Plaintiff has failed to provide the court with a brief summary of the case, as per

California Rules of Court rule 3.1800, subdivision (a)(1).

2.                  The exhibits attached to the declaration of Jane Snyder (“Snyder”), Plaintiff’s

subrogation representative, are not labeled.

3.                  Snyder has failed to authenticate the policy between Plaintiff and its insured(s).

4.                  Snyder has not attached any documentary evidence regarding payment of any amount from Plaintiff to its insured(s) or any assignment from its insured(s) to Plaintiff of the instant claim.

            5.              Snyder has not provided the court with any documentary evidence or any information regarding the damages allegedly incurred to the insured(s’)’s premises.
