Judge: Randall J. Sherman, Case: 2020-01171373, Date: 2022-12-02 Tentative Ruling

A Status Conference is set for today.  On November 28, 2022 the court signed the parties’ [Proposed] Order Dismissing PAGA Allegations Without Prejudice.  But since the First Amended Complaint also seeks civil penalties, it is not clear whether the intended dismissal was for the entire action, even though all the civil penalties cited in the First Amended Complaint here are also included in the Second Amended Complaint that was filed in the related case being settled.  Thus, the parties must appear and clarify their intentions (and/or possibly file another document).
