Defendant GLOSS HAIR STUDIO, LLC ('Defendant') filed this motion to compel Plaintiff EMMA O'NEIL ('Plaintiff') to provide a further response to Special Interrogatories, Set One, Special Interrogatory No.

17. Plaintiff has not filed any opposition to the motion. Failure to file any opposition to the motion indicates Plaintiff's acquiescence that the motion is meritorious. (See California Rules of Court, Rule 8.54(c).) Plaintiff has failed to demonstrate the request do not seek discoverable information and she has failed to justify her objections to the discovery request. Further, Plaintiff does not address waiver of her right to object for failure to timely respond to the request. The motion is granted. Plaintiff is ordered to a provide further response within fifteen (15) calendar days. Defendant is awarded $2,000 in sanctions against Plaintiff and her counsel, jointly and severally.
