Attorneys Gary L. Chambers / Chambers & Noronha seeks an order relieving them from acting as counsel of record for Plaintiff Emily Prum.

Motions to be relieved as counsel pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure ยง 284(2) are governed by California Rules of Court, Rule 3.1362.

All the requirements of California Rules of Court, Rule 3.1362 have been met, and the Declaration of Attorney Chambers appears to demonstrate good cause for granting the motion based on the allegations that:

a) there has been a breakdown of the attorney-client relationship;

b) a conflict has arisen between counsel and the plaintiff;

c) irreconcilable differences have arisen between the two which render it impracticable to continue in the attorney client relationship.

Additionally, all required judicial counsel forms (MC-051, MC-052, and MC-053) relating to the notice of motion, declaration and proposed order have been utilized and properly served. [CRC 3.1362(a)-(d).]

Plaintiff was served at her last known address which was confirmed by conversation as: 7703 E. Margaret Drive Anaheim, California 92808

Thus, the Motion to Be Relieved as Counsel of Record filed by Gary L. Chambers / Chambers & Noronha is GRANTED.

The proposed order herein should be updated to reflect current law and motion and any other relevant dates. The order relieving counsel will be effective upon counsel filing proof of service of a copy of the signed order, and this Minute Order, on the client and on all parties that have appeared in the case. (California Rules of Court, Rule 3.1362(e).)

The Court continues the Case Management Conference to 10/5/2023 at 1:30 p.m.  Plaintiff, or new counsel for Plaintiff is ordered to appear.

Counsel to give notice.
