Defendant Thomas Springer's unopposed Amended Motion to Deem Facts Admitted is GRANTED.

(ROA 153, 218.) The matters set forth in Defendant's Request for Admissions, Set Two propounded on Plaintiffs Victor Guzman and Alice Velasquez are deemed admitted.

The court also grants Defendant's request for monetary sanctions against Plaintiffs Victor Guzman and Alice Velasquez on the grounds they failed to submit to an authorized method of discovery. (Code Civ.

Proc. § 2023.010(d).) However, the court reduces the sanctions to $1,000.00.

Plaintiff Victor Guzman is to pay $500.00 to Defendant on or before January 16, 2024. Plaintiff Alice Velasquez is to pay $500.00 on or before January 16, 2024.

Once confirmed, this ruling shall be the final ruling of the court and no further written order is required.
