In connection with plaintiff Gina LeBlanc's motion to compel California Department of Health's compliance with deposition subpoena (ROA # 114), the court directs the California Department of Health to provide copies of the subpoenaed documents to the court for in camera review. After the court reviews the records in camera, the court anticipates conducting another hearing to address what further actions, if any, may be appropriate. The court anticipates asking the parties for further input after the court conducts its in camera review.

The court invites the parties to appear (in person or remotely) for the August 8, 2023 hearing to discuss scheduling. The court proposes to direct the California Department of Health to provide copies of the subpoenaed documents to the court by August 28, 2023. The court proposes to conduct a further hearing on this matter on Sept. 1, 2023 at 2:30 pm.

This is the tentative ruling for an appearance (in person or remote) hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. If no party appears at the hearing, this tentative ruling will become the order of the court as of August 8, 2023. If the parties are satisfied with the court's tentative ruling or do not otherwise wish to argue the motion, they are encouraged to give notice to the court and each other of their intention not to appear, though this notice is not required.
