Defendant Vista Unified School District's motion to compel the deposition of plaintiff Susie Jones (ROA # 47) is granted.

The court directs plaintiff Susie Jones to appear for a deposition on February 13, 2024 at 10:00 am at a location in San Diego County selected by the school district or by remote video. The parties may agree to change the date, time and/or place of the deposition. In the absence of any such agreement, the deposition shall occur as indicated in this order.

Defendant's request for sanctions is granted in the amount of $1,000. The sanctions shall be paid by plaintiff Susie Jones to the Vista Unified School District on or before March 2, 2024.

This minute order constitutes the court's order. No party is required to submit a proposed order after hearing. But the moving party should give notice of this order.

This is the tentative ruling for an appearance hearing (in person or remote) at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024. If no party appears at the hearing, this tentative ruling will become the order of the court as of February 2, 2024.
