Plaintiffs Crossroad Capital LLC and NJH Enterprises, Inc.'s motion to compel the deposition of defendant/cross-complainant Deborah Anderson (ROA # 49) is granted in part as set forth below.

The court directs defendant/cross-complainant Deborah Anderson to appear for a deposition on September 25, 2023 at 10:00 am, either in person at the offices of Curran & Curran Law, 5857 Owens Avenue, Suite 300, Carlsbad, CA or by remote video. Ms. Anderson may choose whether to appear in person or by remote video. The parties may agree to change the date, time and/or place of the deposition. In the absence of any such agreement, the deposition shall occur as indicated in this order.

Plaintiffs' request for monetary sanctions is denied. The court finds the imposition of sanctions in this instance would be unjust.

This is the tentative ruling for an appearance hearing (in person or remote) at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023. If no party appears at the hearing, this tentative ruling will become the order of the court as of September 8, 2023.
