Plaintiff Camino Village, LLC's unopposed motion to compel discovery responses (ROA # 29) is granted.

Plaintiff propounded discovery requests (form interrogatories, special interrogatories and request for production of documents) on defendant Jefferey G. Cook on July 17, 2023. See Raffee Dec. (ROA # 29), ¶ 2. According to the moving party, no responses have been received. Id. at ¶ 3.

Plaintiff also propounded discovery requests (form interrogatories and request for production of documents) on defendant Roslyn Rostani on July 17, 2023. See Raffee Dec. (ROA # 29), ¶ 2. No responses have been received. Id. at ¶ 3.

Defendant Jefferey G. Cook is ordered to provide verified responses to the form interrogatories, special interrogatories and request for production of documents pursuant to CCP §§ 2030.290(b) and 2031.300(b). By failing to respond to the interrogatories and inspection demand in a timely fashion, defendant has waived the right to assert objections pursuant to CCP §§ 2030.290(a) and 2031.300(a).

Defendant Jefferey G. Cook's verified responses must be sent to Attorney Jill Raffee at the Raffee Law Group, APC, 11622 El Camino Real, Suite 100, San Diego, California 92130 by no later than December 29, 2023.

Defendant Roslyn Rostani is ordered to provide verified responses to the form interrogatories and request for production of documents pursuant to CCP §§ 2030.290(b) and 2031.300(b). By failing to respond to the interrogatories and inspection demand in a timely fashion, defendant has waived the right to assert objections pursuant to CCP §§ 2030.290(a) and 2031.300(a). Defendant Roslyn Rostani's verified responses must be sent to Attorney Jill Raffee at the Raffee Law Group, APC, 11622 El Camino Real, Suite 100, San Diego, California 92130 by no later than December 29, 2023.

The request for monetary sanctions is granted in the amount of $1,260. The sanctions shall be paid by defendants Jefferey G. Cook and Roslyn Rostani, jointly and severally, to plaintiff Camino Village, LLC on or before January 8, 2024.

This is the tentative ruling for an appearance (in person or remote) hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023. If no party appears at the hearing, this tentative ruling will become the order of the court as of December 8, 2023. If the parties are satisfied with the court's tentative ruling or do not otherwise wish to argue the motion, they are encouraged to give notice to the court and each other of their intention not to appear, though this notice is not required.
