TENTATIVE 

The Court excuses the personal appearance of the claimant and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call.  

The Court has reviewed the Petition to Approve Compromise of Disputed Claim of a Minor (Xavier Joe Ruiz, age 9). The Court finds the settlement is reasonable and based thereon approves and GRANTS the petition. However, blocked order incorrectly lists $153,932.88 as the amount to be deposited when the amount is $307,865.75. Additionally, the proposed order does not list the total allowance of fees and costs of $122,134.25.

Accordingly, the Petition to Approve Compromise of Disputed Claim of a Minor (Xavier Joe Ruiz, age 9) is CONTINUED to November 8, 2022. Counsel is ordered to file a new order to deposit into blocked account and proposed order correcting the defects.

Moving party is ordered to give notice.
