TENTATIVE

The Court has reviewed the Expedited Petition to Approve Minors’ Compromise, (Miguel Velasco, Age 15, Abraham Velasco, age 13, and Taliah Velasco, age 7). The Court finds the settlements are reasonable, however, the following defects preclude the granting of the petitions at this time:

(1)  In all three petitions, Attachment 19b(4) states that the parent requests a check in the amount of $500, however, this is the gross amount, not the net. Thus, counsel is ordered to correct the amount and list the net settlement amount in each attachment.

(2)  None of the proposed orders granting the petitions have been filed.

(3)  Defendant has not been served with the petitions.

Accordingly, the Expedited Petition to Approve Minors’ Compromise (Miguel Velasco, Age 16, Abraham Velasco, age 13, and Taliah Velasco, age 7) are CONTINUED. Counsel is to file a new petition correcting the error, serve defendant, and file the proposed orders granting the petitions.
