TENTATIVE

The Court has reviewed the Expedited Petition to Approve Minor’s Compromise.  The Court declines to approve the Petition as requested.  Pursuant to Cal Rules of Court 7.950.5, the Court elects to schedule a hearing date to permit Claimant to: list the net amount of the settlement instead of the gross amount under Item 6 for the Court’s orders, submit cost summary and bills in support of $9, 237.35 in medical bills prior to any reduction.  Finally, Claimant failed to serve Defendants with the petition.  The proposed order should also reflect the information listed in Item 6.   

Accordingly, the Court schedules a hearing on this petition for January 12, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in Department SS-29.  Counsel is ordered to correct the defects and file a supplemental declaration by December 22, 2022.

Moving party is ordered to give notice.
