TENTATIVE 

The Court excuses the personal appearance of the claimant and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephones or video conference call.  

The Court has reviewed the Petition to Approve Compromise of Disputed Claim of Minor (Bethany Rodriguez, age 17). The Court finds the settlement is reasonable, however, several deficiencies preclude the granting of the petition at this time.

First, the medical bills are not attached to counsel’s declaration or the petition. As there has been a reduction of medical expenses, the agreement providing for the reduction must also be attached to the petition.

Second, under item 4 of the proposed order granting the petition, Kuwato Chiropractic is spelled as Kutato.

Accordingly, the petition is CONTINUED to May 3, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. Petitioner is ordered to correct the deficiencies listed above.

Moving party is ordered to give notice.
