Tentative: On October 17, 2022 the Court reviewed the request for default judgment, and CONTINUED the matter to allow counsel to resubmit a default packet to correct various issues identified in the Court’s minute order for the same date. However, counsel has not filed a new default packet yet.

Facts:  This case stems from a dog bite on Defendant’s property.

Analysis:

Special damages have not been proved. Plaintiff’s declaration and supporting evidence does not support the amount of special damages sought.  There is no proof that any future medical expenses are required, such as a doctor’s note. General damages have not been proved as they are excessive.
