Petition to Approve Disposition of Proceeds of Judgment for Minor (Julianna Gomez, age 16)

TENTATIVE 

The Court excuses the personal appearance of the claimant and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call.  

The Court has reviewed the Petition to Approve Disposition of Proceeds of Judgment for Minor (Julianna Gomez, age 16). The Court finds the settlement is reasonable. However, the following deficiencies preclude the granting of the petition at this time:

(1)  The petition is blank starting on page 2 through the middle of page 5. The petition must be completely filled out where applicable.

(2)  Defendants have not been served with the petition.

(3)  Petitioner is not Robert Gomez any longer. The order to deposit into blocked account and order granting the petition incorrectly states Robert Gomez as petitioner instead of Anna Gomez.

(4)  Claimant is now 16 years old and not 15.

Accordingly, the Petition to Approve Disposition of Proceeds of Judgment for Minor (Julianna Gomez, age 16) is CONTINUED to 10/25/2022 at 1:30 p.m.

Moving party is ordered to give notice.
