TENTATIVE 

The Court excuses the personal appearance of the claimant and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call.  

On February 5, 2023, the Court reviewed the Petition to Approve Compromise of Pending Action of Minor (Jane Doe, Age 10), and identified multiple issues precluding the granting of the petition.

First, there is no proposed order granting the petition filed.

Second, there is no proof of service indicating Defendant was served with the petition.

Third, there is no order to deposit the funds into a blocked account.

However, Plaintiff has not yet filed the new orders and a proof of service indicating Defendant was served.

Accordingly, the Petition to Approve Compromise of Pending Action of Minor (Jane Doe, Age 10) is CONTINUED. Counsel is ordered to cure the defects and file the proposed orders.  Matter is continued to April 12, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.

Moving party is ordered to give notice.
