TENTATIVE

The Court has reviewed the Expedited Petition to Approve Minor’s Compromise. The Court declines to approve the Petition as requested. Pursuant to Cal Rules of Court 7.950.5(c)(3), the Court elects to schedule a hearing date to permit counsel to correct the following defects:

(1)  The retainer agreement is not attached to the petition.

(2)  Defendant has not been served with the petition.

Accordingly, the Court schedules a hearing on this petition for May 16, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in Department SS-29. Counsel is ordered to file a supplemental declaration attaching the retainer agreement and serve defendant then file a proof of service.

Moving party is ordered to give notice.
