Case Number: 19VECV00517    Hearing Date: December 5, 2022    Dept: T

Motions to compel plaintiff depos

TENTATIVE RULING

The declaration states that “On Aug. 26, 2022, I attempted to call and email Plaintiff…” What does that mean?  Was an email sent?  Where is the copy of the email? What does it mean “a response was not received”?  What happened when the telephone call was made, or was it just attempted, not clear?  What happened to the email? The points and authorities were 3-1/2 pages.  Why would it take 2.5 hours to write this motion?  What is there 3.5 hours for a telephone appearance and no reply?

As to the minors, the court will require the GAL to appear in court to talk with the court about the status of getting a new lawyer.
