23VECV00213 MERCURY INSURANCE COMPANY vs MATTHEW IAN GOREN

TENTATIVE RULING: Motion to compel respondent to appear in Los Angeles County for defense medical examinations.  No opposition has been timely filed.

Grant with conditions.  There needs to be more specificity as to when the exams are to take place, etc.  To that end, defendant must serve a Demand for Examination under the Code for each examination and the demand must be Code complaint. Once that is served, then the court will meet with counsel to discuss the dates and times, the travel, transportation and hotel arrangements and the money to be advanced for those expenses.  The court finds that the request is reasonable in light of the stated intention of plaintiff to travel to Los Angeles County for the arbitration.
