On the Court's own motion, the hearing on Defendant State of California Highway Patrol's Motion For Summary Judgment is CONTINUED TO February 14, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. 

Plaintiff failed to submit courtesy copies of all briefing and evidence filed as required by Department 19. (See Courtroom Information Link, Department 19, LASC website).  Plaintiff is ordered to submit courtesy copies to Department 19 by January 24, 2022.

The Court also notes that the parties failed to bookmark their evidence as required by the LASC 2021- General Order-032-00 Re Electronic Filings and California Rules of Court, rule 3.1110(f).  But at this point, the Court is not going to order the evidence be refiled with proper bookmarks. However, next time, the filings will be rejected. 

The Court needs additional time to review the briefing before the hearing.
