The Hearing on Motion for Attorney Fees (Res. ID: 396326141793) [Filed: 3/6/24] is CONTINUED to 11/22/2024, at 9:00 a.m. in Department 19 of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse.

First, the Court requires courtesy copies of all briefing filed. (See Department 19 Courtroom Information page on the LASC Website and the Operative General Order Re: Mandatory Electronic Filing For Civil). Second, the submissions  filed by Petitioner are insufficient to determine whether the requested hourly compensation for each attorney is reasonable. There is no information provided regarding the background and experience of each billing attorney, or past hourly rate awards by other courts.  The Court gives Petitioner an opportunity to provide supplemental evidence and justification in support of the hourly rates requested.

Additionally, no proposed judgment has been filed. The Court also orders moving party to file a Proposed Judgment and leave a blank for the  amount of prejudgment interest.

All supplemental evidence and documentation must be filed by November 14, 2024, and courtesy copies delivered to Department 19 by November 15, 2024.

Counsel for Petitioner is ordered to give notice to 1) an agent authorized to receive service of process for Respondent, 2) Respondent’s general counsel, and 3) Leonard Shulman, Esq.
