TENTATIVE RULING

On the Court's own motion, Defendant Fedex Ground Package System, Inc.’s Motion for Summary Judgment is CONTINUED TO May 10, 2023, at 8:30 a.m.  The Court needs additional time to analyze the briefing and evidence filed, as well all of as the evidentiary objections asserted, before hearing oral argument.  

In addition, the Court has not received an unredacted copy of the Declaration of Philip Horlacher that was lodged conditionally under seal. 

Further, on the Court’s own motion, the Hearing on Motion to Seal Plaintiff’s Exhibit 13 Filed in Opposition to FedEx Ground’s Motion for Summary Judgment is advanced from September 13, 2023 to May 10, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. in Department 19 of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. Briefing shall be per code if there is any opposition.
