TENTATIVE RULING 

On the Court’s own motion, the Hearing on Petition Notice of Hearing on Petition for Approval for Transfer of Payment Rights is CONTINUED to February 14, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., in Department 19 of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. 

The Court has reviewed the First Amended Verified Petition For Approval For Transfer Of Payment Rights and First Amended Declaration Of Payee, filed on October 29, 2024, but does not make a ruling at this time because a Notice of Related Case has been filed in Case Nos. 20BBC00367 and 21BBCP00373 seeking to relate Case Nos. 20BBC00367 and 21BBCP00373 with the instant matter and with each other. 

However, the Notice of Related Case was not filed in the instant matter as required by California Rules of Court, rule 3.300, subdivision (d). 

The Court continues the hearing to give Department B the opportunity to rule on the Notice of Related Case. Plaintiff should follow up regarding the outstanding Notice of Related Case.  

In the meantime, the Court orders counsel for Petitioner to file the Notice of Related Case in the instant action within 5 court days. 

The Court sets a Non-Appearance Case Review Re: Notice of Related Case, Case Nos. 20BBC00367 and 21BBCP00373 for December 13, 2024, at 10:30 A.M. in Department 19 of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse.
