Order Appointing Arbitrator and Closing Case

            State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (“Petitioner”) filed a petition to compel arbitration and appoint an arbitrator.  The Court granted the petition.  The Court scheduled a further hearing and provided notice: “[A]bsent a stipulation or good cause, the Court intends to appoint the arbitrator in the following order: (1) Honorable Joe Hilberman, (2) Honorable Robert Polis, (3) Thomas Sharkey, and (4) Honorable Gregory O’Brien.”  (See Court’s Minute Order, dated July 24, 2023.)  No party filed an objection.  Therefore, the Court appoints the arbitrators in this order.  The parties may select the next arbitrator in order if the prior arbitrator is not available to conduct the arbitration. 

            Petitioner sought no additional relief in the petition.  Therefore, the Court sets no future dates and orders the Clerk to close this case.  Petitioner’s counsel shall provide notice and file proof of such with the Court.
