Ex Parte Application to Continue Trial Date and all Related Dates

            Plaintiff Veronica Mendez (“Plaintiff”) filed this employment action against Guilford Glazer Properties, Inc. and the Diane and Guilford Glazer Foundation (collectively, “Defendants”).  Trial is set for February 20, 2024.  Now, Defendants seek to continue the trial date, and all related dates, to June 17, 2024.  The ex parte application is not opposed.

            The ex parte application is granted in part and denied in part.  The Court grants the ex parte application to the extent it seeks a trial continuance and sets trial on its first available date.  The Court advances and vacates all dates and sets the following dates:

            Hearing on Motion for Summary Judgment:             April 22, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.    

Final Status Conference:                                            September 20, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.

Trial:                                                                           October 1, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.

The expert designations deadlines and discovery cutoff shall be based on the new trial date (October 1, 2024).  The fact discovery cutoff shall be based on the former trial date (February 20, 2024).

            Defendants’ counsel shall provide notice and file proof of such with the Court.
